Independent Study
An independent study is a student-initiated project for course credit. The student works with a faculty advisor as well as the Smart Home Director to realize a mutually agreed upon project. The workload is approximately 10 hours per week, and the main deliverable is a comprehensive project report to supplement anything installed in the Smart Home. Work structures and meeting times are required, but flexible.
