The executive board responsibilities include:
- Event planning
- Competition logistics
- Grant awards
- Public relations efforts
- Managing the Smart Home operating budget
- Overseeing project teams
- Coordinating interaction between students and the administration
- Working with the Director to set Smart Home vision and goals
- Maintaining the website
