Jim Gaston is the current Duke Smart Home Program Director. Jim has been working with this project since 2008. He manages student project teams, directs project research, and is responsible for curriculum integration. Jim is the main point of contact for questions from the public and industry.

The Student President of the Duke Smart Home Program oversees the program and works with the Director to set and promotes program vision and goals. The President also oversees the executive board and maintains communication with all Smart Home personnel.
Nancy Wang, Executive Vice President

The Executive Vice President of the Duke Smart Home Program is responsible for the Duke Smart Home Competition as well as for the management of group and student project teams. The Vice President also performs other miscellaneous executive duties such as implementing technical projects in the home, and coordinating with other on-campus groups.
Hua Fan, House Manager

The House Manager is responsible for working with RLHS to maintain safe conditions inside Duke Smart Home. The House Manager is responsible for making sure that they are on the central campus CA email list. The House Manager is the point of contact between Smart Home residents, RLHS, and Pratt. The House Manager is responsible for working with Pratt and RLHS to maintain and implement the house "Operating Guidelines". The House manager is responsible for coordinating bi-weekly events at Smart Home designed to attract outsiders. The House Manager is responsible for informing residents of cleanliness issues, and expecting them to respond in a timely fashion.

The Public Relations Director is responsible for preparing all Smart Home posters, banners, flyers, and any other public materials. The PR director al represents the Smart Home at public events and information sessions.
Samuel Iglesias, Industry Relations Director

The Industry Relations Director is responsible for leading efforts to secure both in-kind and monetary donations for Smart Home and student projects. The PR Director also works with the president and director to create and develop collaborative relationships with other organizations, as well as attending conferences, fairs, and symposiums.
Ashwin Goyal , Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for pursuing and managing funding from DSG, ESG, and EAC. The Treasurer is also responsible for keeping track of all spending on the purchasing card, and keeping up-to-date records of all expenses.

The Secretary is responsible for maintaining the student roster and applicable meeting agendas and minutes. The Secretary also collects and organizes presentations and reports and acts as an intermediary when mass correspondence is sent out and feedback is necessary.

Tom Rose is a retired Director of the Duke Smart Home Program. Tom was the Director of the Duke Smart Home Program from 2005 to 2008. He worked with the project since conceptualization with Mark Younger. Tom Directed the program during the construction phase, as well as the latter half of the design phase.
